Marilyn Warsofsky

Marilyn Warsofsky, received her B.F.A and M.F.A. in theater from Virginia Commonwealth University and was well known on the East Coast as an actress, director, instructor, and theater coach for thirty-five years. She is the founding director of Baltimore Actors Conservatory and the Celebration Company in Maryland.

Warsofsky teaches Readers Theatre in the Continuing Education Department at Paradise Valley Community College and created Valley Readers Theatre Group. The group has performed across the Valley for more than eight years, using twenty-five southwestern tales/legends that Marilyn adapted for the stage. Marilyn portrays Sharlot Hall for the Arizona Historical Society Museum and conducts workshops to train living-history interpreters.
