Jordan Hill
Jordan Hill, his storytelling incorporates traditional folktales, legends, and historical accounts. Hill began teaching after his graduation from Brandeis University in 2002. Building on the connection between history and storytelling, he became interested in living history and has performed for all age groups, guiding people through streets and graveyards as a colonial character in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, and portraying a pirate on a Potomac River boat. When he arrived in Tucson, Hill began researching the Arizona’s history and people. He feels a connection with mountain men, especially James Ohio Pattie and his colorful adventures as a beaver trapper.
