As one of the 50 states in the United States, Arizona is governed by the U.S. Constitution. Our state follows the Constitution’s plan of government and protects the rights of its citizens.
Arizona also has a state government. It has a state constitution. We follow the laws that were made for Arizona.
All Arizonans live in cities or towns that have local governments. All people- including kids- have rights and responsibilities. In return, we all must work to make our country, state, and communities’ good places to live by being good citizens.
