Chapter 10: Government for All of Us: Activities

    1. Give students the handout on how a bill becomes a law and discuss as a group. After this separate the class into groups and have each group come up with a bill of their own.
    2. What are the pros and cons, why should this be a law, how much will it cost?

 

  1. When they have their bill completed have them present it to the other groups and see if it would pass a vote to be made into a law… why or why not?
