Find someone in the community and ask them about their work. Fill out the interview worksheet.
Have the students think about why these jobs are important to the economy.
Why do you work there?
Pretend you are finally old enough to get a job. Ask the following questions for students to think about.
- What do you want your dream job to be?
- Why would this be your dream job?
- What benefits to the economy and society does this job have?
Then have students fill out the attached worksheet on their dream job.
