Steele Auditorium

The wood-paneled auditorium seats 272 in theater seating with 6 additional wheelchair spaces.  It boasts adjustable house lighting, a large curtained stage, PC-equipped smart podium, and a full range of audio, video, and online capabilities. WiFi internet access is also available.

Rental Includes:

  • Use of  A/V equipment

  • Use of lobby in front of the Steele Auditorium for registration or refreshments


  • Breakout rooms available
  • Add the sandstone lobby or brick courtyard set up for breakfast for $500
  • Add the brick courtyard set up for lunch for $700

Steele Auditorium Evening Package

Roosevelt Boardroom

The boardroom is equipped with a notebook PC, LCD projector, projection screen, WiFi internet, HDTV, whiteboard, flip chart easel, video and teleconferencing capabilities and seats up to 50. This second floor room offers views of Papago Park, “A” Mountain, and the East Valley.

Rental Includes:

  • Use of A/V equipment and flipchart
  • Courtesy access to telephone, fax machine, and copier


  • Breakout rooms available
  • Glass pavilion and/or brick courtyard set up for lunch for $250

Classroom  Copper Room

The classroom seats 25. It has a 27” SDTV, DVD/VCR, projector screen, internet connection, and multiple dry erase boards.

The Copper Room seats 40.  It is available for a variety of uses including as a staging area for larger events or as a meeting room.

Additional Options

Sandstone Lobby
The lobby can be used for vendors, breakfasts and lunches.  Dinner rounds or cocktail tables can be brought into the space to seat a maximum of 200 guests.

Vendor tables $500

  • Includes up to 20 rectangular banquet tables with 2 chairs each

Breakfasts $500

  • Includes food and beverage tables with up to 12 high top cocktail tables

Lunches $700

  • On Mondays, the sandstone lobby may be used in place of the brick courtyard for lunch use.
  • Includes 72’’ round dining tables with chairs for up to 150 guests.

Daytime rentals include complimentary admission to the museum exhibits.
